Radical Transparency: Ready or Not - It's a Wrap!

'Real World Sustainability' Webinar presented by Cher Mereweather
Food and beverage manufacturers are invited to participate in a webinar on Thursday, August 13, 2015 from 3:15 pm to 4:30 pm EST. This webinar, hosted by the Alberta government but open to all food and beverage manufacturers, will highlight business risks of not addressing sustainability and include a live demonstration of the effectiveness of Provision's award-winning Online Sustainability Portal.
Cher Mereweather will deliver an informative webinar on real world sustainability and take webinar guests on a walk through the portal including the Getting Started Framework, Sustainability Self-Assessment, Environmental Benchmarking Tool, and Key Performance Indicator Scorecard – tools which have been specifically developed to assist manufacturers with the integration of sustainability in their operations.
To register for the webinar, click here. Participants are encouraged to register to Provision's Portal prior to the webinar.
Members will be familiar with the resources Provision has allocated to monitoring Environment Canada and Health Canada’s Chemical Management Plan Initiative. This process was initiated to help the food and beverage industry understand its exposure to the list of substances being reviewed and also to better understand the potential impacts to industry.
Provision Coalition has prepared ten briefs in total for members. Most recently, Brief #9 speaks to the reversal of the CEPA Toxic Decision for Amaranth and how this decision could impact member companies’ operations and Brief #10 refers to the significance of "flags" (substances of special interest) on the Domestic Substances List (DSL) and how “flags” could impact member companies’ reporting requirements.
