Step 5 Monitoring the Plan

Use this monitoring plan to measure the success of each solution in year one, after you've implemented them. The key to monitoring each solution is measuring the amount of food waste generated at the processing step where the solution was implemented. Comparing this measurement to the baseline established before implementation will indicate success. Create one monitoring plan for each solution identified in Step 4.
